RE: REQUEST FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF BAXTER COUNTY TO

SUPPORT AND VOTE YES FOR H.R. 4405 – “Epstein Files Transparency Act”.

Dear Representatives Crawford, Hill, Womack and Westerman:

On behalf of the Democratic Party of Baxter County, Arkansas, we write to express our full support of House Resolution 4405 (H.R. 4405), introduced on July 15, 2025, by Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA-17) and co-sponsored by 18 others including Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY-4). We implore you as your constituents to vote in favor of H.R. 4405 as soon as you are back in session and have the chance to do so. It is imperative after all that you continue with, PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT.

The Democratic Party of Baxter County fully supports the Epstein Files Transparency Act and the release of documents relating to Jeffery Epstein.

The Democratic Party of Baxter County steadfastly agrees with Sec. 2, part (b) which states, “make publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in thepossession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices”.

The Democratic Party of Baxter County concurs with the Prohibited Grounds For Withholding – and that “No record shall be withheld, delayed, or redacted on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary”. We believe let the “chips land where they may” and that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

Sincerely, for the voting body,

Democratic Party of Baxter County, Chair – Mary E. O’Shields

Democratic Party of Baxter County, Vice Chair – Shane Tilley

Democratic Party of Baxter County, Co-treasurers – Mike and Karen Breton

Democratic Party of Baxter County, Secretary – Jennifer Coffman Shurley
